This bowl is the perfect size for whisking and enjoying a smooth bowl of matcha.
Hand-thrown on the pottery wheel using a blend of stoneware clays, it features a natural dark-beige tone. Designed with a soft, rounded spiral along the body, it offers a comfortable hold and a tactile shape meant to be explored by touch, making it not just a vessel, but a sensory experience during your matcha ritual.
The clay mix comes from my studio’s reclaim buckets—nothing goes to waste. This gives each bowl its own unique marbling and brown hues, depending on the clays I had been working with previously. After shaping, each piece is fired at high temperatures and finished with a white glaze.
