Grey Porcelain Cups
Hand-thrown on the pottery wheel using a blend of porcelain and grey clay, these cups have a concrete like finish that echoes the look of carved stone. I wanted to emulate the natural color and texture of raw material, almost as if the cups were shaped directly from a piece of stone, recalling the true origin of clay itself.
Each cup is coated with a transparent glossy glaze and fired at high temperatures to reveal the soft depth of the clay blend.
